چکیده
Abstract The BeiDou global navigation satellite system (BDS-3) constellation deployment has been completed on June 23, 2020, with a full comprising 30 satellites. In this study, we present the performance assessment of single-epoch Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) positioning tightly combined regional (BDS-2) and BDS-3. We first investigate whether code phase Differential Inter-System Biases (DISBs) exist between legacy B1I/B3I signals BDS-3/BDS-2. It is discovered that DISBs are in fact about zero for baselines same or different receiver types at their endpoints. These results imply BDS-3 BDS-2 fully interoperable can be regarded as one without additional when used precise relative positioning. Then preliminarily evaluate short baseline RTK newly evaluated through ambiguity resolution success rate, dilution precision, well accuracy kinematic static modes using datasets collected Wuhan. Experimental demonstrate current only solutions deliver comparable much better respect to solutions. Moreover, improved BDS-3/BDS-2, particularly challenging harsh conditions. single-frequency BDS-3/BDS-2 solution could an rate 96.9% even elevation cut-off angle 40°, indicating achieve superior Asia–Pacific region. Meanwhile, three-dimensional (East/North/Up) (0.52 cm/0.39 cm/2.14 cm) test significantly than (0.85 cm/1.02 cm/3.01 due geometry constellation. provide 0.52 cm, 0.22 1.80 respectively.

Modeling and Assessment of GPS/BDS Combined Precise Point Positioning
Precise Point Positioning (PPP) technique enables stand-alone receivers to obtain cm-level positioning accuracy. Observations from multi-GNSS systems can augment users with improved positioning accuracy, reliability and availability. In this paper, we present and evaluate the GPS/BDS combined PPP models, including the traditional model and a simplified model, where the inter-system bias (ISB) i...
متن کاملA Kalman Filter-Based Short Baseline RTK Algorithm for Single-Frequency Combination of GPS and BDS
The emerging Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) including the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) offer more visible satellites for positioning users. To employ those new satellites in a real-time kinematic (RTK) algorithm to enhance positioning precision and availability, a data processing model for the dual constellation of GPS and BDS is proposed and analyzed. A Kalman filter-ba...
متن کاملAn Extended ADOP for Performance Evaluation of Single-Frequency Single-Epoch Positioning by BDS/GPS in Asia-Pacific Region
Single-Frequency Single-Epoch (SFSE) high-precision positioning has always been the hot spot of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), and ambiguity dilution of precision (ADOP) is a well-known scalar measure for success rate of ambiguity resolution. Traditional ADOP expression is complicated, thus the SFSE extended ADOP (E-ADOP), with the newly defined Summation-Multiplication Ratio of Wei...

متن کاملPerformance of BDS-3: Measurement Quality Analysis, Precise Orbit and Clock Determination
Since 2015, China has successfully launched five experimental BeiDou global navigation system (BDS-3) satellites for expanding the regional system to global coverage. An initial performance assessment and characterization analysis of the BDS-3 is presented. Twenty days of tracking data have been collected from eleven monitoring stations. The tracking characteristics and measurement quality are ...
